Emissions Monitoring Environmental Technician - Cleveland, Ohio
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree (e.g. environmental science, biology, chemistry) with a 3.0 or higher GPA, plus at least 2 years experience in conducting air pollution monitoring and testing or permit/compliance support, an interest in learning all aspects of stack testing, including data and equipment preparation and QA measures, manual methods sampling, and the ability to become familiar with 40 CFR 60 EPA Reference Test Methods. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a mechanical aptitude and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Calibration and maintenance of field sampling equipment.
  • Mobilization of field sampling equipment and mobile laboratory.
  • Setup of field sampling equipment on-site.
  • Test supervision during test program.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift/hoist 50 lbs, have no fear of heights, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Source Testing Project Manager - Gainesville, Florida
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years source testing field experience, a B.S. in a science related field, and prior managerial experience. Project Management duties involve coordination of source testing programs, managing Testing Technicians, and preparing test protocols and data reports using Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as experience communicating test logistics and report results with clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 75 test methods and QA and will have or be expected to obtain QSTI status under ASTM D-7036 in all four Groups. This position requires extensive overnight road travel and overtime work.

Environmental Testing Technician

Responsibilities include industrial air pollution testing using EPA test Methods.
Requirements: Extensive overnight road travel (Midwest), overtime work required, work outdoors, no fear of heights. This is a scientific technician position, and on the job training may take an extended period of time. A Science-based college degree is required. Previous environmental work experience preferred.

The successful candidate is reliable, focused, and hard working with a positive attitude. Must pass physical and drug screen. and have a clean driving record. Stack testing experience is a plus but not required.

Hourly, full-time position with health coverage, training and benefits package.

Position requires residence in either the Greater-Cleveland, Ohio area. Starting pay is dependent upon background.
